Cognitive and behavioural characteristics in CdLS

For parents, caregivers, health care providers, and teachers, concerns and questions often arise regarding the care and well-being of individuals with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.
Cognitive and behavioural characteristics in CdLS can vary widely among affected individuals and range from relatively mild to severe. Cognitive characteristics refer to brain-based processes which are involved in skills such as thinking, learning, remembering, paying attention and reading.
